 Co-hosted by Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California (AJSOCAL), the Asian Democrats of Los Angeles County (ADLAC), and the Korean American Democratic Committee (KADC), this non-partisan community event will allow Asian Pacific Islander community members to learn about and ask questions of candidates for LA County Sheriff ahead of the November election. Specifically, the event organizers hope this event can allow for a nuanced discussion on the role of policing and combating anti-Asian hate within the purview of the County Sheriff's office. To attend in-person or virtually, RSVP is required.
Location will be released within 48 hours of the event. Questions for candidates will be collected both prior to the event (via RSVP form) and a limited number of live questions will be taken.
